The truth is that human beings often place differing value on people. But God looks at EVERYONE through the same lens, wanting everyone to come into a relationship with Him. In today's scripture, Jesus heals a disenfranchised woman in an hour of tremendous need. She demonstrates amazing faith in spite of a very difficult life, the risks associated with stepping out in faith, and the fact that Jesus will not let her stay anonymous!
We see through Jesus's actions that every single person is important to Him. No one is beyond the love of God. He bestows unmerited favor on every person who fully trusts in Him. He is ALWAYS ready and willing to help when we call upon Him with all our whole heart.
